Asteroseismic Distance Candles

Over the summer of 2022, I worked with UPenn research group Galaxy Dynamics to determine the viability of using red giants as distance gauges by visualizing their abundance and distribution in simulated galaxies.

I learned to manipulate millions of data points and present them visually using python.
